Terms of use
The rules between you and PUMP.
In force from 19 August 2026 Β· Privacy policy
They are written in plain English so that you actually read them. By using PUMP you accept what is written here: if some part does not suit you, write to me instead of finding out later.
Who offers PUMP
PUMP is a training app offered by Sandro Vilmi, an individual developer. The contact for anything β support, reports, requests about your data β is supporto@pumpapp.net: a person answers, not a form.
What PUMP does, and what it is not
PUMP records what you do: training plans, sessions you ran, sets, runs, meals and minutes of breathing. It puts your numbers in order and gives them back to you.
PUMP is not a medical or nutritional advice service. A calorie need is an estimate, not a prescription; a plan is a training program, not a therapy. The clinical reading belongs to your doctor, and if you have a health condition it is with them that you decide what to do.
You train under your own responsibility: you choose the loads, the timing and when to stop.
The account
- An account is required. You create it with an email address and a password, or by signing in with Google (iPhone and Android) or Apple (iPhone): in that case the sheet is the system one and your password never passes through us. The account is personal, and it is yours to keep.
- The profile data β name, date of birth, weight, height, gender β is used to compute needs and loads: if it is made up, the numbers are made up.
- PUMP is not intended for people under 14 β that is the age from which, in Italy, you can consent on your own to your data being processed for a service like this one.
- You can delete your account whenever you want, from βYouβ β Account. Deletion removes all of your data from our servers, including published plans, and cannot be undone β the step by step is in Deleting your account Cookies.
- An account that uses PUMP to harm someone, or to work around these terms, may be suspended.
Free and Gold
- Free is a whole app, not a time-limited trial: all five plan types, the editor, the showcase and every raw data point forever.
- Gold costs β¬8.99 a month and has no annual plan. β οΈ On Google Play the price shown is β¬10.99, because Play adds VAT on top of the declared figure while the App Store already includes it: it is the same subscription with two final prices. The full price list is in Pricing.
- It is bought from the App Store on iPhone and from Google Play on Android. Bought on one channel, it counts on every device of the same account.
- The subscription renews every month until you cancel it, and you cancel it where you bought it, which is where the subscription is managed. Purchases made inside the App Store or Google Play follow the refund rules of those stores.
- You can cancel at any time, from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Gold features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for: there are no partial refunds for unused days, and when it expires the app goes back to Free without losing anything on your phone.
- When Gold ends, nothing is deleted: plans, sessions and meals stay, and the Gold features come back when you renew.
Changing your mind, and who owes it to you
Gold is bought inside the App Store or inside Google Play, and at that moment the seller is not us: it is you and the store. The payment does not pass through PUMP, the receipt is theirs, and a refund is something you ask them β through reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple, or the order history in Google Play on Android. This is not passing the buck: it is how the two stores are built, and a refund on that channel is something we physically cannot issue.
The fourteen-day right to change your mind that European law grants consumers stays yours and no line here removes it: you exercise it towards the store that sold you the subscription. β οΈ One thing that applies everywhere: if you ask for the service to start immediately β which is what happens when you buy Gold and use it in the same minute β that right shrinks or is used up, because the digital content has already been delivered.
If one day we sell Gold directly from here, by card and without going through the stores, then we will be the seller and the fourteen days will be owed by us: on that day this page will say so. Today it is not the case.
What you write stays yours
The plans you write are yours. PUMP claims no ownership over them and sells them to nobody.
If you choose to publish one in the showcase, its title, its description, the structure of the plan and your name as the author become public: you authorise us to show it and to let it be downloaded for as long as it stays published. You can withdraw it whenever you want β it leaves the showcase, and whoever already downloaded it keeps it.
By publishing, you state that the plan is yours: you do not publish someone else's work.
What is inside PUMP and is not yours
The exercise catalogue, the app's texts and the plans we give away are ours: they are used inside PUMP and are not resold elsewhere.
The nutritional values of foods are not ours and are nobody's exclusively: they come from the Ciqual 2025 table by ANSES, the French health agency, used under Licence Ouverte / Open Licence 2.0 (Etalab). That licence asks one thing, that whoever produced the data be named, and that is what we are doing. They are reference figures for generic foods: the apple in your hand is not the average of all apples.
The showcase does not sell
Nothing is sold in the showcase. Trainers publish to be found: there are no prices on plans, there are no commissions and no payments pass between people. The only thing on sale is Gold, and we are the ones who sell it.
What must not be published
- Other people's content passed off as your own; content that is offensive, illegal, or dangerous for whoever performs it.
- Addresses and links in the trainer's bio: that field does not accept them, and it is not an oversight.
- Reviews written to damage someone rather than to describe a program.
Plans, bios and reviews can be reported from where they are shown. Whatever breaks these rules is taken out of sight.
Your data
What stays on the phone and what goes up to the servers is written in full in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. In short: the data PUMP reads from the Health app stays on your device, and the only exception is the one you choose every time you use Karol.
Interruptions
PUMP is built to work without a network: gyms have no signal, and what you do is written on the phone first. The services that go through the network β account, sync, showcase β can be interrupted, for maintenance or for a fault. We do not promise they are always reachable; we promise the app on your device keeps working meanwhile.
If these terms change
When they change, the date at the top of this page changes. Relevant changes are also announced inside the app.
How far we answer
PUMP is made by one person and we offer it as it is: it can have defects, and we do not promise it fits a particular purpose you have in mind. What we do is keep it standing and fix what breaks.
We do not answer for what you decide to do with the numbers PUMP shows you β the loads, the calories, the times: they are tools, and the choice to lift or to eat stays yours, as written above. We do not answer for failures of Apple, Google, your carrier or your phone.
All of this applies only as far as the law allows: if we caused the harm through intent or gross negligence, or if it concerns life and health, no line on this page releases us β and none pretends to.
Applicable law, and where disputes go
PUMP is offered from Italy and Italian law applies to these terms. The rights the law grants to consumers stand, and no line on this page can take them away.
If you are a consumer, you can go to the court where you live: that is your right and we do not move it elsewhere.
Before it gets there, though, write: almost everything is settled by an email. If that is not enough, you can turn to a mediation or alternative dispute resolution body among those recognised in Italy. β οΈ The European ODR platform that many sites still link to was shut down in July 2025: we do not cite it, because sending someone to an address that does not answer is worse than citing nothing.
